    Even going back to the 1968 title winning game , we still managed to let three goals in .......






    probably just as well then that we managed to score four !

    A poor performance against a team defending for their lives. An awful lack of width and an over reliance on a full back who can't cross. Bad defensive errors and lucky goals. A near-disaster culminating in an enormous sense of relief.

    True to be honest, it was a preview to this season but gladly forgotten with what happened at the end!

    You're right, it was a mess of emotions:

    Shock that we'd blown it, astonishment that we saved it, huge relief which built into pure joy and lasted weeks.
