sometimes absolutely shocked and gutted. I should know and have learnt by now, but I haven't.

I'm with you on that and I too was shocked and gutted about Sunday's result. Still feeling it now

Depends a lot on Kompany. With him and Nasty together we are much stronger. As long as we get through his absence and are still in touch we will be OK. Hoping to see City play solid away from home.

Yes , the league is a marathon , not a sprint , but it shouldn't be forgotten that we allowed a gap to develop around HALFWAY through the season last time around (early December) ... from which we never recovered !

We have also to bear in mind that they have a much easier run-in than ours. We have to play scum, liverpool, arsenal and everton away in the last 10 games whereas they only have everton away to worry about.

Trouble is 'Chippy' , if we don't concentrate and stand up to the likes of Villa and Stoke in forthcoming away games , it could all be over long BEFORE the end of season run-in .... just like it was last time !

We need to learn our lesson ....

Every point is important , and the players need to realise it ...... the performance at Cardiff was not the performance of a side who desperately want their crown and esteem back , and those players know it too !

I think we will win 4. The Stoke one stands out as the real test as Kompany will presumably still be out and it could potentially end up being a similar kind of test to the one we had on Sunday. We need to learn some lessons if it isn't going to go the same way although it depends how Hughes sets them up as well, I suppose. Fairly confident we will win the home matches and wouldn't be too concerned about Villa away.
