What does Nedum & Sturridge have or will have in common?

I think we're all ignoring the elephant in the room here, so i'll just say it...





















They've both scored at Stamford Bridge.

Sturridge is a starting player at Chelsea (if based on merit alone).

OK that bird has flown.

My question is are we short-sighted with Nedum never giving him the opportunity under Hughes & Mancini regimes. IMO he can be a better CB that VK ( he has limitations which some of you are overlooking atm) or Lescott or Savic or Kolo if he is allowed to bloom.

Just imagine one got us our first defeat in our record season and the other might be the reason for our last defeat of the season.

I hope not but sometimes I just have the uncanny ability to reason that way.

The fact that Onouha is a blue and came through the ranks, really clouds peoples thoughts on his actual ability. IMO

I reposted it just to clarify for those who misconstrued what I posted.

Now to recap VK was bought in by Hughes and started of as holding midfielder. For one reason or another he replaced Nedum and also his No. 4 jersey.
IMO VK blossomed "into one of the Premier League's best centre backs as evidenced in his inclusion in the 2010-11 Premier League Team of the Year".

Isn't it a coincidence that he became one after DJ arrived? Isn't it surprising that they played well together. Why?

Is this a joke? They are both the same age and Onuoha has never shown anywhere near the ability that Vinnie has.
