Couple of amendments ,additions from an FOC who lived round there in those days.Talking early 1970`s

Hardy Wells was the Birch Villa,home to Johnny Muir.

There was a pub called the Grey Horse in between Platt Lane and Claremont Road,same side of the road as the Huntsman

Still have family who live on Horton road not much to do around Rusholme these days, they used to all whinge about the TV reception and had a protest group that lobbied city.
It's a good job the TV reception is good because there is nothing else to do.

The Etihad is 20 years old. The new Kippax was 8 years old and the Platt Lane was 10 years old.

Yep.
Even the South Stand extension at the Etihad will be older than the Kippax in about a year.
