Too true it was not funny - IT WAS HILARIOUS HE HAD IT COMING - COULD HAVE STAYED WELL AWAY BUT CHOSE TO GOAD FANS WITH HIS CELEBRATIONS - VERY DANGEROUS WIO- BET U WONT DO THAT AGAIN!Marvin said:The sight of Ferdinand with his face covered in blood was not funny. I'd have thought that would be the overwhelming feeling from any football fan on or off any moral high horseDubai Blue said:What's happened has happened, so for people to sit wringing their hands from upon a moral high horse really achieves nothing at all.ChrisNUFC said:I just can't help laughing when i see the clip.
I'm with you Chris; it would have been preferable for it not to have happened, but now that it has I can certainly see the funny side of it.
It's a bit tentative I admit but I know where Ferdinand was when he cut his eye, and the video indicates which way he was facing - directly in front of the Utd fans.horizon said:This thread is becoming a bigger embarrassment that the f***ing Kaka signing.
Rio "brought his own blood capsule" "The Utd fans did it." Jesus wept
A muppet threw a coin from the city end - those who weren't there please bin the Sherlock Holmes theories - we should all just call the thrower a **** and leave it at that.
They both deserved more than a coin in the face. I keep reading snooker ball in a sock on this thread. Every time he scores against us all he concentrates on is winding up the city fans, I could probably name atleast 4 incidents.andy said:Now don't get me wrong he does not desreve imbeciles to throw coins at him, hurl verbal abuse at him to release your anger by but throwing stuff is just cowardly and pathetic.

2008/2009 season, City 0-1 United, Rooney scores a goal just before half time, and celebrates by running infront of the north and CB stand pumping his chubby hands at us.
2010/2011 season, United 2-1 City, Rooney scores one of the best goals in football history, runs to the corner where the city fans are kept at OT, and presents himself to straight to us.
2011/2012 season, FA Cup 3rd round, scores a rebound from a saved penalty, gets up, goes straight for the badge and waves it at the North Stand.
2012/2013 season, City 2-3 United, both his goals he ran straight to the North/East corner, not to mention the RVP goal, straight over to the South/East corner.
Acting like this alone makes me hate the c**t more than any other footballer on earth.
Then of course we have the Rio incident, got exactly what was coming to him, don't go looking for trouble if you can't take it when it happens.
And now I've seen that Phil Jones incident with his shirt, not sure if he just couldn't pull it over his fat head this time trying to show off his 10 year old boy tits, but he certainly managed in May.
Fact is they do what they want and when they want and they always will. Only thing they cannot do, is take away the pain they suffered in May when the news came through we'd won the league. That fact alone, is the reason why the final score didn't bother me much, cause once the buzz of the beating us dies down, they will all realise that actually, their name isn't on the Premier League Trophy, and they will remember exactly how it happened.
Anyway, rant over.
