What has pissed you off today?

Not today but yesterday.

I travelled from Nottingham to Blackpool by train and the bus replacement from Sheffield to Manchester Picc took 20 mins longer than expected meaning a 2 hour stop over in Manchester when I wasn't in a good state having been on a 2 day stag do.

Over 8 1/2 hours to get home....I've flow from the Dom Republic to Manchester in less time.

And there’s me thinking I’d gone through the right vetting procedures. Should of known when he parked the van up and asked for some water for his horse.
 
Got on a bus home from work about 30 mins ago, whe. I got to. the stop it was empty bit soon filled up.

When the bus came some woman with a stroller and 2 kids in hand just arrived, I got on first and heard a pfft behind followed byy some nobhead tellingher "how rude" she replied " somenpeople jist want a seat before manners"

Well to the knight in shhining armour commenting, mind your fucking business and the ignorant cow, kids or no kids you can fuck off, and wait your turn.

I'm getting this in early as I'm waiting for Royal Mail to deliver a parcel, supposedly between 9:20 and 11:20am. I know exactly how it will play out, as this happens every time. 11:20 will arrive with no sign of the delivery and some time later I'll get an email saying either (a) they tried to deliver it but no one was in, or (b) it'll now be delivered some time before 7:30pm.

In the latter case, it won't arrive at all today and they'll send me a email saying they'll reschedule it for Monday, when I'm out. There will an option to pick a more convenient time, which I'll do and will get confirmation of. Then they'll deliver it on Monday regardless and leave it on the front door step.

I feel your pain and most would agree that's a common occurrence.

Drop kicking everything over my garden gate is the weapon of choice these days, Evri drivers have got a fair hoof on them.

We need to start a campaign for all houses to have postal lockers outside them so that parcels can be posted without you being in.

My wife sends me every picture she takes or receives via whatsapp every minute of every day.

Just get to the airport/dock with the banner and chocolates and grin and bear it ;-)

And it's started. Just got an email saying it'll now be delivered. between 11am & 4pm. I've had a few deliveries this week and every single one arrived on time or even early. Yet these useless fuckers can't even get it to me on the right day most times.
 
The restructure in my workplace. Several people have been put onto a higher salary grade without interview. Several other people have been promoted (some deserving which is fine, some anything but deserving). I went for a promotion under pressure from my colleagues to say I’d walk it but I missed out. I can accept missing out but I can’t accept the person who was promoted. It’s not about who works the hardest and who has the most knowledge. It seems to be about getting noticed and being “proactive”. I’ve been moved sideways to another team where I have to learn a whole new role. Part of me feels happy to get a new start, another part of me feels pissed off and abandoned. Looking at the new structure and the number of blaggers in roles I feel they don’t deserve has just pissed me off even more. I probably should move on.

RM are so behind the times, your experience is exactly the same as mine every time I'm expecting a delivery from them. The fact you can't fully track delivery from them in 2025 is shocking, with most others, I know exactly where the driver is at any moment in the day.
