Mancini was not sacked for winning nothing. He was sacked because he wasn't deemed good enough to take the club forward. Some of you need to think about the reason the club used the word 'holistic' so pointedly in the Mancini statement.

I can see it now, the first game in charge that Pelligrini wins, the ones whose glass is half full will be saying if that had been Mancini we would have drawn or lost that game.

The first time Pellegrini draws or loses in charge the ones whose glass is half empty will be saying if Mancini was in charge we would have won that.

We have to move on, the only thing that matters is the club, I just hope that our football is more entertaining, that when we win we win well and provided luck is on our side regarding injuries I hope we are in contention for silverware come May.

No insanity whatsoever in sacking Mancini, and i speak as someone who liked him. I was predicting before Christmas that he'd be getting sacked at the end of the season, purely based on the motivation and performance of the team.

As for those criticising Txiki and Soriano for the way they are running the club, i would point out that they are still sorting out the mess left by the previous management. MCFC is one of the most exciting projects in world football, with the best owners and now the best management anyone could wish for. If you can't see where this management is taking our club then i would suggest you look at the way they transformed Barca into the powerhouse it is today. Be patient and enjoy the journey, we're going to go far.
