What is wrong with Robinho?

but when you are as good as he is then you are bound to get dispirited playing week in week out with showers of shite.

hughes out...we are 4th bottom for f*** sake, with a squad like ours we should be at least top half,

"So we are a shower of Shite"

one minute we are a shower of shite and the next top squad. So what are we.
The squad is thin, the squad is poor, we lump it up field because Micah and Dunnie are not the best footballing brains or passers of a ball.

Unfortunately much as I love Robinho and a great player he is he has to realise that he doesn't run the team the manager does.

I am pleased that Hughes has stood up to the Brazilians and shown them who's boss. If that has pissed the Brazilians off then so be it. This is a team game and if it's one thing Fergie realises it's that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

As soon as you step out of line reputations count for nothing with Fergie look at Van Horseface, Keane and Beckham as soon as they thought they were bigger than the club they were out.

Robinho needs to learn that this is a TEAM game and whilst he is a great player nobody is bigger than the club.

Spot on.

Agree. We are now into a similar situation that we had with Kinkladze where everything revolves around one players and it isn't healthy or good for the team. It wouldn't be so bad if we could get a few other real big names in but that may not happen given our league position.

As I said in another thread, all the Brazillians can go as far as I am concerned (Robinho subject to us getting a good replacement which may be the difficult bit as there aren't many mercenaries as big as him around!)

personally i'd want hughes out before the brazilians
as much as it being a team game there are always a teams best players. the brazilians are arguably ours so to get rid would be a dire mistake. we need a manager who knows how to handle them without pissing them off. hughes cant handle them or the task he's been set.

Hear where you are coming from but the Brazillians are no way our best players. Robinho falls into that category yes but Elano and Jo - no chance. See how many teams come in for them in January (and I am not talking about on loan). Won't comment on Glauber!

Robinho is the best player. I would argue Elano & Jo are not anyway near the best. If people say just because they are Brazilian they are the best, you're wrong. The Brazil side is very good but they are no longer great. Zab, Ireland, Kompany & SWP are better players than Jo & Elano and they awork for the team and the boss

lol
glauber and jo agreed
my point was on elano and robinho in particular
elano is class and could get into any big side IMO he and robinho need to be managed not just told to piss off as that wont solve anything

Not sure where you are coming from with Elano! As I said, it's clear that Hughes wants rid so let's see how many of the bigger clubs come in for him. As I understand it currently, Lazio and Espanyol may be interested in taking him on loan. Hardly Europe's elite banging the door down for a permanent transfer!

Elano is class until he is clattered, the premiership is not for him. Given time on the ball he is very good. But teams have worked us out, by putiing pressure on the likes of him, hence the poor second half of the season, where he went missing.
