I tell you what I have noticed just recently living in Scotland now and for 25 years, quite a few immigrants to Scotland ,in my area , Turks, Mexican, Polish, Russian have said they feel Scottish and love Scotland. Something I feel is a recent development or at least it’s become more prevalent.
Don’t know if it’s happening across other parts of the UK.

I'm not a fan of the royals.

However one thing I find truly British is the dress up people do anytime theres a major royal celebration or commiseration.

The Brits know how to do pomp and circumstance. Makes me feel nostalgic for the era where you knew a **** was a **** but you respected and tolerated each others cuntage.

The Brits know how to make themselves look completely mental to the rest of the world.
