What players do you remember and what players do you forget that you remember?

Carl Shutt the footballing spelling mistake
Always remember going to Newcastle away on new years day circa 1993. We lost 2-0 both goals scored by Andy Cole but the reason I remember that match is seeing Shutt and Brian Kilcline chasing for a ball. Kilcline got there first but it was literally like watching football in slow motion. Will never forget it.

To elaborate.....

I was thinking earlier about Kolarov....who is pretty hard to forget for a variety of reasons

During the last week, I heard Danillo mentioned, and I would not have remembered him unless his name was mentioned or I was on the final round of Pointless.
I remember Danillo as we replaced him with that mard arse liability cancelo and so the change of RB is etched into my memory

There are plenty I have forgot about inbetween but 40 years on I still remember those random Scots who pitched up at the beginning of the McNeill era. The legend of Tolmie and his hairdoo live on of course but for some reason I can still reel off Duncan Davidson, Dominic Sullivan and Gordon Dalziel.

Came to us late in his career, one relegation season, keeping Coton out which led to TC leaving us before Eike had a hip replacement....
I remember Eike Immel. I was in hospitality at Anfield (a mate worked for Carlsberg and got freebies) when we got tonked 6-0 under Alan Ball. They gave man of the match to Eike for pulling off four world-class saves!

Crocky Santa Cruz. Hard to decide who was the biggest sick note striker out of him and Jovetic.

Actually I've just checked - even Jovetic played more than Crocky. But the winner is... Valeri Bojinov with 11 games in 3 years!
