What was it like inside and outside OT today, fans reaction

Took 90 mins to get away from the ground, looking at their pi55 poor excuse for fans was class. Come on city

It was fucking hard work walking back to the car amongst thousands of rags trying to pretend we weren't ecstatic at the result - reminded me of Del and Rodders when they hit the jackpot, got in car and the three of us just pissed ourselves. Fucking great.

When you walk out you walk through a torrent of home fans.

The best way to descibe it is...

It was like shawn of the dead when they walked through the zombies to get to the winchester

Walked under the main stand after the game. Just like last season.

Last season it was packed with the Rags singing non-stop and giving it the big one after beating us.

Today.

Plenty of room to walk freely. Not a song. Everyone looked suicidal. The only noise came from the Rags massed around the Glazder cars, singing anti-Glazer songs.

I smiled and laughed to myself.

Trully awesome atmosphere inside. We outsang them all day. I was hugging blokes I've never met in my life! After the 5th and 6th goals it was utter bedlam....grown men just hugging each other for dear life. I will never, ever forget the atmosphere inside that ground today. Ricky Hatton was in our end as well.....he enjoyed himself!

Outside before hand was strangely quiet, didn't get the usual grief whilst waiting to be searched and enter the shit hole, having said that I got there at about 1230.
Inside was noisy as ever, in the blue part anyway, constant chanting, Ricky Hatton was there in the South Stand section and the red faces of the tourists was just a picture to behold, the fuckers couldn't even look at us as we cheered.
Outside afterwards, no bother that I saw, just a few numb heads trying to get the blues to react with their usual drivel.
All in all it was just pefect, just wish we had made it 8 or 9.......!!!

The one thing I'll never forget is the look on the face of guy in the row in front of (by now in the aisle) after the fifth goal went in - sheer disbelief.

For me, the fifth goal was so so special because of the scoreline, and the fact that the younger generation of Blues (of which I am a part, at 25) finally had a 5-1 of our own.

As a youngster I was sick of reading about the 5-1 when we hadn't beaten them in over a decade and I was three at the time, so this was sweet.

The sixth goal was just ecstasy!

So many pissed off rags outside. And plastic daytrippers in half/half scarfs having their photos taken!

that was your 1989th post, quite fitting.

Well noticed. As soon as the fifth went in it beat the 5-1 at Maine Road as it was away, at the Swamp. When the sixth went in it avengend the 5-0 at the Swamp and bragging rights will be ours for ever more. COME ON CITY!!

Me and squirtyflower did the old scream in the taxi once in. It will long live in the memory
