What was the first City match after you were born?

Opening match of the 59/60 season. Home to Nottingham Forest, 2-1 victory, goals from Bobby Johnson and Paddy Fagen. Lovely fella, Paddy, met him through golf, he played at Sale.
 
3 days before I was born 29th Jan 55-----City 2 Rags 0 FA Cup
1st match after I was born 5th Feb 55-----City 4 Cardiff 1 1st division
12 days after I was born 12th Feb 55-----Rags 0 City 5 1st division

Dad was a massive blue attending all the games so a great period for him, for me I just had to be a blue !
 
I win this hands down. 10-1 Huddersfield.

I'm not saying I had anything to do with it but there hasn't been a result like that since...
 
City v Burnley 0-1,12th March 1952.Dad's would have been 4th October 1913 Bradford City 2-3,yes he was in th 84,569 record gate at Maine rd.

I don't often start threads, thought of this one when i was looking for the first home prog after my sister was born (as a bday presie).
So i then looked up my own thinking it'd be good to frame it...
Til i found it was this one -

(Or would the comb over break the impact?!)



The first match we played after i was born was
21/12/1974 - wolves in the league, an exciting 0-0!

I guess i was the curse ;)

(First goal scored after i was born was by Colin on boxing day 74)

That was my first game I attended. Was gutted that we didn’t win and I didn’t get a programme! I was only 9.
