In late 60s & 70s Ben Sherman,Staypress,twotones Harrington Jacket / Donkey Jacket ,Blazer with hankey & Lancashire rose .Doc Martin's,loafers

Tacchini, Lyle and Scott, fila, farahs, pringle, adidas, kickers. Hurleys on Piccadilly approach did the lot

United wore denim and denim to go with their mullets and rag scarves round their wrists

Hurleys got done over after a Sheffield Wednesday game, a few Pringle diamond jumpers were going cheap that night.

We used to do that as kids on the Kippax. We also used empty oxo/Bovril cups full of piss.
Good times.

Digressing but being in Italy for 1990 WC was the last time I could identify with an English national team. Gazza, Butcher, Pearce, even Bobby Robson all proper football people who you could've had a drink with. Not had a lot of interest since bar Euros in England and don't even watch them on tv anymore much really.

My views are exactly the same
