That definitely would have been 89 to 92 / 93 would it not? I used to wear all of that gear and Chipie as well at that time.Round my way Chesterfield, the land that time forgot , we had a top mens clothes shop called Zebra, still going today and that's where all the casuals got their gear from. Chevignon, Soviet, Replay, Stone Island late 80's, diesel just a few of the brands big round here mid 80's time
You're probably right mate, forgot about chipieThat definitely would have been 89 to 92 / 93 would it not? I used to wear all of that gear and Chipie as well at that time.
Apart from Adidas Kick, I was too young for the gear mentioned on here. Love seeing photos online nowadays of that era though online, although not too many of City around. Probably the best of the bunch seemed to be Pompey, always looked immaculately dressed (or maybe there’s just more pics of them)
they were called 'Roxy' jackets...after Roxy Music. Available throughout the underground market.Do you remember those leather jackets similar to blazers/dinner jackets in shape around the early 80’s Zin , came in all different colours ?
I remember my best mate saying his dad had one of them from his younger day hung up in the wardrobe and that he was going to wear it one night , he did and looked smart as fuck too, proper quality.
Cheers mate, I knew they were known by a common name and that rings a bell.they were called 'Roxy' jackets...after Roxy Music. Available throughout the underground market.
