What were you doing the day we were relegated to the old 3rd

Was in the Brittania, absolutely devestated. Couldn't quite comprehend that we beat them so convincingly but had fooked up by needing others to rescue us. At least we took the 'brick weilding plate making' cocks with us.

I was on the train to London for a few days with my rag husband on a city break. Found out the news when we got to the hotel room. Twatted husband for doing his crocodile tear lament routine. That was an evil day.

Crying like a baby

I went to Platt Lane. They had a big screen up in the bar upstairs. The place was obviously packed out with blues. If I remember correctly, Portsmouth had a say in how the day went. If they lost, and we won, we would stay up. Sky kept going backwards and forwards to the Portsmouth game, and after a while, it became apparent that we were going down.
The atmosphere at Platt Lane was weird. We were all happy to have won so well, and most people were pretty drunk, but as the result from the Portsmouth game came in it was like being at a funeral! It really was absolutley terrible...
Going through that kind of turmoil made the wins at Wemberly, and then Blackburn the following years so much sweeter!!
Up the blues!

That day has been blanked from my memory. If the rest of you have any sense, you will do the same. There may be consequences to those who ignore this directive.
It was a bad, bad day and when bad, bad things would have happened - only they didn't because that day never happened, at all...
At all!
We will speak of this day, no longer.

Yours sincerely,

Winston Smith & all the lads in Room 101.

Running out of the away end dodging bricks and allsorts trying to get back to the car wankers i hate stoke in my top 3

At least your car was there. We got back to find ours had been nicked, so ran the gauntlet to get to the Police station. Was then told the way to the train station, straight thro 500 Stoke fans.

I stopped a woman copper who had just dropped off the riot police back at the nick and she agreed to give us a lift to the station in the van.

As we got to the station it was going off everywhere, and this poor woman copper had to get out and fight with them all; just for doing us a favour!
