What would be the transfer values of these players today?

His counterparts at Old Toilet, John Fitzpatrick, Martin Buchan (spit), Francis Burns, etc, got away with far worse and stayed on the pitch.
I'm not sure what that has to do with my point tbh. The players you mention were very average at best, that's why the rags got relegated. Bremner was a top player in his day but his ball-winning ability relied on tackles that are now not just illegal but would often get a straight red.

One of the main reasons I still call his club dirty Leeds.

A **** of the highest order and a player I despise to this day.

I hate him more than any other non-rag and more than most of the swamp-dwellers over the years.

When you consider Kane and Sterling are rated at £50m, i think most of those values are £10m light. Is kane better than Greaves and Law for example?

Kane doesn't come anywhere near Law and Greaves. I often wonder how much BETTER the players of yesteryear would be, playing within the context of the present. Did Denis Law and Colin Bell ever play on the kind of pitch we have at The Etihad, wearing the high-tech clothing and equipment we have now?

Shilton should never have been picked again after the 86 World Cup after being beaten to the ball by 5 ft 4 inch Maradona. His legs were gone then let alone 4 years later as proved by West Germany's goal over his head. Also, as far as I remember, he was the only goalie in the 1990 World Cup not to save one penalty.

Or a bunch of fives...
