What would you consider to be a succesful season?

Always the same for a bona fide top club. Must mount a serious title challenge, progress in Europe, and most importantly improve performances of the collective team/squad.

With it being Pellegrini's second season in charge I would expect by October the overall improvement in the team's performances from last season to be noticeable.

A trophy. The league will be difficult because of the start we have. I'm a little bit worried that the majority of our players haven't played together since May and it will take us a while to get going. On the flip side of that, we made a shit start last year and still won the league, so if we do the same this year, at least we will have got some very difficult games out of the way.

There's 5 teams capable of winning the league this season and i make us slight favourites. I think we needed to strengthen in an attacking area. The only forward i'm not actually worried about is Dzeko. Negredo misses the first 3 months, Jovetic looks sharp but his fitness still worries me and i still don't think he's quite as good as a lot of us are hoping. And Aguero just can't stay fit, or at least he hasn't done for the last year. He looked like he's lost his explosiveness at the world cup. Granted he wasn't at his sharpest, but it will surely take an injury free couple of months before we see him at his best. If just two out of those four stay on form and fit, we should win the league, because we are very strong everywhere else.

I for one, am not hoping anything. The guy at his best, is absolute class. He has proved that long before joining us.

This season I think its going to be hard. A hard start I be happy with anything from 9 points or more from our opening 5 games. Its a hard start to the season. I think after that and with players fully fit we can compete and kick on. Just think Chelsea may well have the team and fixtures to win the league this season it will go down to the wire. They were lacking a goalscorer and they seem to have sorted that out with Costa. Also think Arsenal will get closer this season. Its going to be a battle. I be happy with.

A cup win.
League competing for the title going into the last few weeks if we get to that stage we could win it.
Champions League - Quater final or better I think this season we will be better in Europe and no major hard group to get out of.

I'd love to retain the premiership. This is always my number 1 ambition at the start of the season.
A domestic cup is always a nice bonus however I'd like to progress to the QF of the CL this season. Don't think we are strong enough to win it as of yet.
