My bad on VK, I used the term wrong. I grouped him in with guys who have been here a bit and is still on the cheap (which hes both). But ya, Good call man.
Your off on Hazard & Bale though. Hazard is a bad call...FOR THE REASON I SAID. Read up sir, is said he will be great, and very good I might add. But if you want him, at your rate lets just buy EVERYONE and concede to just not play in Europe, cool? (FIFA Fin. Fair Play is no joke - even with all of the guys going out from that first group and a few second group, there might only be a bit to buy our first priority, a decent CB to stay within the financial regs). If you think we need attacking potential then...
I dont know what to say. Out of control. We clearly just dont need attacking potential. Your taking the EA SPORTS manager-mode attitude and disregarding so many options we have because your bored with them or something.
Bale at the back? It not unrealistic. On the glue? Easy man. Obviously, thats not an ideal sport for him which is why I dont want him and said the only way I could justify it, but still the more I actually think about it now (and Im trying to be like, ya hes right that wouldnt work), I cant hate it. I dont. Again, I could take him or leave him but, on the take him side, ya itd work.
Your out of control on Guidetti. Lost a lot of respect comparing him to Samaras but I'll give you a break its cool. Hes sick, dont question the Guidetti!
Cbacks:
I can see where you are going with the CB choice, although I think that they will stick with Kolo and look at trying to get Savic and Boyata more time on loan to try and bring them back 2013 and fit in with Komps and Lescott.
Full backs:
If they do bring in another then it will be someone on the cheap. No need for full backs
CMid:
WIth Barry, Nigel, Yaya and and Milner, we need another player who can spray the passes round if Yaya plays further forward, like the role that Pizarro has played for us. I can see Bobby bringing in another cheap/free older CM. Or he may go for the marquee signing and look to offload Nige, although having 5 would be great for competition and cover.
AMid:
WIth Yaya, SIlva, Nasri and AJ we don't have much more!
AJ I can see going this year, although he may stay if he can accept starting the lesser cup games and coming off the bench. Hazard will add to our list of 4 players there and take some of the stress off Silva and Nasri
Strikers
It all depends what happens with TEvez. If he goes then we will have the funds and be in the market for someone new. Sturridge? If he stays then I don't think they'll be too much movement.
GK: Hart, Pants, 3rd (can't remember his name right now) (3)
CB: Komps, Lescott, Kolo, Savic, Boyata (U21) (4)
FB: Zabs, Gael, Kola, Micah (4)
CM: Milner, Barry, Nige, Yaya,
Another (4)
AM: SIlva, Nasri, AJ
Another (3)
St: Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko, Balo (4)
That makes 22 senior players without any additions. We should be looking at 24-5 senior players and then also the youth to be able to use them and send them on loan.
We can accomodate another CM and AM and possibly another CB although I think not. We may look to bring in some cheap players/free ones or some such, Hoillet for example.
In terms of FFP, we need to show that we are moving towards break even and it is all cool. With the Etihad sponsirship, Champs league money, incresed cash for sponsoship and more comp money, plus, I would say higher exec box revenue plus with a higher profile more money from our sales abroad and at home we will make really good strides against that 194mill loss. We also have the new deal with Nike to come the season after next so I would say that the figures for this year, when the accountts come out, will be about 150m loss and then after that nearer 100m loss. THat would be almost 50% less in 2 years. It is from that point forward that we are going to find it hard if we don not expand the stadium to get extra gate receipts.
