She's from Brinnington originally, went to Werneth high school, hope this isn't going to end up like the last one Tim, on another board it turned out this lad knew my Mrs and pretty much confessed to fancying her for years and peeping through his curtains every morning when she walked by lmao.

Yeah me too mate, in 91 though.
Had some great times in there, always seemed to be more girls than lads in there.
My mate was seeing a girl that went to Bury Grammar and we'd always meet them in Sam's :)

Must be getting old, all the clubs I went to when i was 16/17/18 all gone, playground, pips, piccadilly club, tiffany's, kloisters, moved on to more rockier venues such as electric circus, jillys, waves, they all gone too,

The original Venue on Whitworth Street West for me. It was near where the Hacienda was. I went to an Indie Night on a Friday and had literally the best night ever. Great music, good vibe and cheap drinks. I found somewhere I felt so comfortable.

The people calling these places dumps have obviously never been to candlelight in oldham.
You had to keep moving otherwise your feet stuck to the floor.
Shite piss-weak overpriced beer, girls fighting, lads fighting and the bogs were like something from downtown Karachi.

Here's a memory test for the old uns. My first nightclub is now the B&Q in Stretford but for the life of me I cant think what it was called when it was a nighclub. I seem to remember that through the week it had live acts and was called 'The Hard Rock' but the 'disco went by a different name, can anyone enlighten me ?

Here's a question, what became of all the old clubs in town like Rotters etc, are they still there under different names? Or are they all gone now

Pretty much all gone Ducado, remember the bar next door to Rotters , called the bar next door ? ( the loo ) Rotters is a restaurant with office space above.
Pips I went too when it was Thursdays latterly Konspiracy I`m not sure whats there now .

Adam and Eves in Chorlton ? anyone.......
