What's the most trouble you've witnessed following City?

Believe it or not, worst I have seen at home was couple years back against Celtic Pre-season.

Never seen anything like it, Celtic brought about 7k with them and got smashed to bits in the coach park.

The buses and coaches were bricked, blues picking up rubble, steaming at everything.

Atmosphere started to turn pretty sinister why they started singing fuck the queen and booing renditions of rule Britannia, Rangers and them singing rebel songs.

My cousin, a Celtic fan, came down and sat with me, said reminded of an Old Firm game!

Worst I have encountered away was Cardiff away in the cup, lost 1-0 to a Nathan Blake goal.

City ran out of town.

City ran out of town.

Before maybe... Not after though :-)

Cardiff's firm came around the back streets and confronted City near where all the coaches were, down the street the away end was on. City went at them and they scattered. It was by a petrol station.

Wot year was this ?

Sorry but my memory isn't as good as some - it would of been around mid 80s. City fans were at the bottom of the Arndale waiting for Liverpool coming to town when loads of rags came out of Victoria. Thought is was going to kick off but it didn't. They ended up joining up made a crew of a good 500-1000.

In the end not much happened - lots of police around

I've only been to Millwall once but was on my own working in the area so didn't see any bother ( night match).
If it were the really sunny day bout 86/87 then that lot who came from round the back of Victoria were actually also City ...Sth Chadd, Failsworth etc

Bout a good 400 odd City by the old Arndale buses, good hundred on Deansgate, same amount on Piccadilly n' a group by Oxford Rd for good measure.

It's the day they had all n' sundry out waitin for em n' waitin n' waitin n' waitin......................

Correct that Dave! By the way, you and CRC are 'friends arguing amongst themselves'... you are aware you know each other? ;-)

Still laughing at the Rag's OP.

'My mate Gavin' and 'get out of our facking manor'

Hilarious bullshit from a rag who pulls in the gullible on here.

Funny how most are either ignoring you or questioning your logic Liam. Not getting into a big thing with you over it though as nobody can really prove their alligence over an internet forum including yourself, however I'm a blue. You never met a person called Gavin? Bit of an embarrassing name I agree, just like Liam is. You doubt people from London have ever said ''Get out of our facking manor''? The people you're calling gullible on here have contributed to an interesting thread, why not start your own equally interesting thread if you don't like mine, maybe you're a tad jelous?

Good luck and good day to you matey, I really can't think of much else to say to you?

lita - just ignore him pal, everyone else is.
You dont have to justify your allegiance to anyone, especially people who like to feel important on here
You started a good thread which lots of people have contributed some good posts, a lot of them which i remember/was involved in
.

It's ok mate, I'm sure I can live with Dave and Liam thinking I'm a rag. Dave thinks because a mate was thinking of startiing a City band and I started a thread that that means I'm a rag on the wum. Judging by the overwhelming response of ''no, for the love of God no'', I can perhaps understand why he thought that a wum, it wasn't though and my mate has shelved the idea anyhow. No real idea why Liam thinks I'm a rag, think having a mate named Gavin is somehow evidence but there you go? Not worth arguing about it with them though so I'll move on and chat about City with others, there's plenty of others like yourself who I can converse with.

Problem is whatever I post they'll see it through the eyes of somebody who thinks I'm a rag. If I'm positive about City then I'm trying hard to look like a blue in their eyes. If I'm negative in anyway about City then they'll say I'm taking the piss, you cannot win in an argument like this! For this reason I'll try not to respond to them and just continue chatting with those who want to talk to me. Anyway thanks for the support, we're all blues together hopefully (apart from me of course :D)

and not get involved in a slanging match on an internet forum..........i'll leave that to the important people on here as i'd rather do it face to face.

That's funny, as you were keen enough to start one on here.
no, i backed up lita by saying ignore liam and complimented him on starting a good thread......it was then that you joined in.
i can carry it on if you want....on here or off it, doesn't matter to me

Read above mate.

I don't think it's either of our styles to arrange to meet up to continue a discussion about whether some geezer on the internet is a clown or a rag, do you?

Ya **** ;-)

I am sure Keith Curle missed a penalty? I was still hungover from my 18th.It was mental going out of the ground and back to the car.
