What's the most trouble you've witnessed following City?

I'm only 23 so haven't seen too much violence over the years, so mine probably has to be the semi final against the rags at wembley. Witnessed lots of trouble throughout the day but on the way out three of us ended up walking out with the rag towards the train station when a group of them started with us I crapped ma self tbh but luckily the other two I was with are big guys and can handle themselves, before I knew it the two I was with had knocked two of them out and the rest of them were trying to pick them up, I don't like violence but that was brilliant to see the twats get what they deserved. We just casually walked off pretty quickly and LAUGHED!

Leeds away 72 on way back to station after Willie equalised!

Boro 1980 away, drew 2 - 2 Bosco Jankovic(RIP)scored late on for them.Going for anything in a Blue scarf. No trouble getting tickets for that one, loyalty points my arse!

Cardiff away in the cup.Think it was late 90's,Ninian park i think.Getting out of the ground,it was kicking off in small groups everywhere,on the way back to the car.And wtf is that stupid thing they used to do tapping there heads?

the tapping on the head is called the ayatollah and cardiff fans still do it every game. ive been to a few swansea v cardiff games and its not for the faint hearted! cardiff are my local side and by far the worst trouble has been when millwall arrive. stoke, reading and leeds are trouble as well.

Git of a drive aswell lmao.

Always remember the derby around 86, 87 we had just been promoted and were all excited. Typically United scored early and a Load of Rags started celebrating right in front of us in the Kippax. As a young teenager I naturally shit myself but remember vividly the City fans stepped back as one, the rags then look back and there is an exchange of abuse and spit before all hell breaks loose. My sisters boyfriend used to take me and he ended up on his arse. Eventually the rags are escorted out and my sisters boyfriend returns laughing and saying 'did you see me crack them before I slipped over'. Quite an eye opener for a young lad.
The 89 derby was quite lary aswell with the rags in the north stand.

Stoke at the Victoria ground when I was just in my teens. Horrible wankers who don't give a fuck who they attack and would spray you with ammonia , spineless cowardly cunts.

Not the most trouble I've witnessed and funnily not the scariest but April 27th 1974 sticks in my memory. Old Trafford, Derby day, Only a kid but felt let down by the lack of support from Blues for a Derby match.A few of us in the middle pen of the scoreboard terrace, surrounded by Rags who then invade our pen and force us out. They came over the barriers and rushed in from behind,I ended up on the floor (this is how naive I was-my scarf was nicked) and strangely was helped to my feet by a Rag who just said " you had better get out here". They were relegated but we played them six months later in the league cup and ironically we filled the scoreboard terrace and a quarter of the United rd paddock.

Millwall at home in the old North Stand at Maine Rd.

I was right at the back of the stand and in the seat next to Millwall and it was chaos from the moment I took my seat. The Millwall fans swept the stewards aside and occupied the seats normally covered by netting so they were in my face for about 75 mins.

Stuck it out until Terry Cooke scored City's third in the 2nd half. At that point coins and seats started flying and at point-blank range. Almost impossible to move in an all-seater stadium with all the seats filled. Scary. Riot Police ended up battering Millwall

The Stoke relegation game in 1998. I remember a lot of trouble inside and out. I was in the Stoke end behind the goal and there was pockets of fighting all through the first half. I remember a few Blues legging it across the pitch into the away end.

Bradford away, Boro, Millwall and Chelsea all from the same period were a bit lively, although granted probably nothing compared to going away in the 70's and 80's. I can't imagine going away and having to watch your back in case you get a knife pulled on you. Fuck that for a game of soldiers.
