Being the town 'Royston Vasey' is based on, apparently.
Are you in Hadfield?

He's being "enigmatic" again, he will come on and say he's from the town that inspired it, not where it was filmed.
I think he's trying to hide the fact that he doesn't come from Manchester tbh ;-)

Cheeky boss hogg.
Although yes, Hadfield is where is was filmed, not where it was based on/where the ideas came from.
And I was born in Manchester! And spent my early years there!

My area is famous for:

Mel C (Sporty Spice)
Kim Catrell (Sex in the City/ Mannequin)
The Best Rugby League Team in the world (in 1989)

Guess! Go on Guess...

BTW wasn't the Lancaster bomber desgined in Urmston?

Edit* oh and who could forget "Bill Speakman received the Victoria Cross for valour in 1951 in the Korean War.[85] Sir Michael Pollock, an officer in the Royal Navy who rose to the position of First Sea Lord, was born in Altrincham."

You forgot Frank Sidebottom!
Are you still in Frank Sidebottoms shed ? I live just off Park Rd and the house has been renovated - looks really nice !
Also Altrincham was mentioned in the Domesday book !
Bob Greaves lives here !
Timperley is also famous because of me Scott Lyons - was on Team of the Week Monday Night Soccer with the Stonemasons Arms - I got sent off on it's very first amateur game LOL !
