what's your pro-Hughes rating?

I think he is handling Robinho as well as anyone can and he did the right thing with Elano. Other buys like Barry and De Jong are bang on.

I think we should have done better in some of the games but he can't perform on the pitch, that is down to the players and some have not done that well. In particular Lescott who is taking longer than I thought he would to settle. On the plus side, we are hard to beat

80% think he will get it right, and if we finnish in the top 6 we can move on next year to top 4

The squad he has assembled is top class, and off the pictch he is doing great.
We are having a bad patch at the moment but we are still picking up points which is good.

NOTE: Its not his fault if the defense switch off, hes not on the pitch with them

Agreed. I think Fifa should relax the rules a little to allow people like MH to wander that area of the pitch, somewhere between the goal area and the halfway line equipped with a red hot poker, seeking out culprits who don't concentrate and deliver the footballing basics to the overall team performance.

I'm pushing 90% for MH, but I do have a dismal track record of backing Grand National winners.

51% - not conviced that the Taffia have the knowledge and experience to take us to the next level. Some of our players look absolutely fooked.

Good buys generally and handles the Media well these seem to be the top of most peoples list of his acheivements and yes I agree it is not enough. But, we have seen time and time again that Managers need time and Money. He has the Money. What he needs is time and patience - and yes this has now become a " cliche" that all of us " Hughes in" types are using and it is the stick we are being beaten with by the " Hughes outers".

As for the " Hughes outers" if we thrash Hull 5 - 0; we will see posts on what a great game Stevie had or Tevez. You will not see praise for the Managers tactics and "Hull are rubbish anyway" type posts.

Lose or Draw ?? - Shay lets one in through his legs last minute; we all know what the tone of the Board will be like.

50% Half the players he signed look good buys, the other half look like expensive mistakes. Half the decisions he makes make no sense what so ever but he dealt with a very dicey moment for the club last season without batting an eyelid. He's sorted out a lot of the Sven slack but has ailienated some players and members of staff. Everything in the balance IMO I'm happy to wait and see, which is quite handy as that's what we all have to do anyway as we don't own the club!
Who are the expensive mistakes 13 games in?
Not saying but agree about the 13 games in, if we're going to invest so much in players they've surely got to be given a season and a half to show what they are about.
I wasn't impressed the way Lescott was missing up field leaving Zabaleta covering in the middle leaving Benayoun in acres, Richards would have got dropped for that.

Yes but he'd have had another 15 misdemeanours taken into account as well

90% - before Anfield it was higher but his failure to react to the fact that Liverpool were a complete shambles has dropped it a bit. It's all well and good having a pre-prepared plan for the game but when they have to make 2 substitutions in the first 18 minutes and only have Gerrard at 50 per cent (even less in the last half hour) he needed to act and tell them to have a go. He didn't until we were one down and it cost us the game. He has to get more out of the players. I wouldn't change manager until at least the end of the season depending on results and remain behind him but that doesn't mean he's immune to criticism.
