Whelan, Fayed and the others ruining football

And please don't accuse me of talking down other clubs when I havent.

Bolton having spent years bullying teams with better footballers.
Yes, heaven forbid that anyone should think that you weren't giving other teams any credit.

In the league and cup you spent the full 90 minutes at the Brit time wasting, Shay Given in particular. Maybe you should be directing your vitriol less at Wigan and more at yourself?

What about when The Shit played their youth team against Hull last season because they had bigger fish to fry? Never mind that it could have significantly altered the future for any number of three clubs, it's ok for The Shit to do it but not for Wolves to give them a taste of their own medicine.

Here is a quote - Wolves starting 11 against Man U, Wigan time wasting in the first 5 minutes and throughout the game last night - I can just imagine the great Wolves team of the 50's beaming with pride at that and the fans of Wigan rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of 90 minutes of time wasting!

Fully agree that it's a really sorry state of affairs - and I suspect that the Stoke fans who've posted would much prefer to be playing like Arsenal. It's just picking on the wrong target.

I've said a few times since the takeover that I'll be happy if it gets us back in the mix for titles and cups...BUT...in the long term, I'd like our owners money to scare the rest of football into fixing the f***** up mess whereby success can only be bought.

Anyone mentioned the possiblity of a European Super League yet? This would remove many of the big clubs from the League, and leave the likes of Stoke, Bolton, Blackburn, etc to kick shit out of each other, with the real possibilty of actually winning something.

this thread is pathetic ..Blackburn have won the prem which is more than can be said of City. But you want to throw them out because you have come into money..or is it because you play the beautiful game

The rest of football would love it if the top four clubs all now fucked off to some sort of Super League. There'd be no interest in it whatsoever and we could have proper football back.

Be careful what you wish for. You don't imagine Sky would be throwing money at a League stripped of the big guns do you? Now let me think, Stoke v Bolton or Arsenal v Barcelona. Wigan v Blackburn or Chelsea v Bayern Munich. Fulham v West Ham or Tottenham v Milan. This new League would be a license to print money, and I'm amazed it hasn't happened already.

you couldn't imagine the City or any fans that might be in a super league being to happy at having to travel abroad for away game every other week. You'd need to be wealthy to keep up

Speaking for myself, I'd pick one away a year and enjoy that probably a lot more than ten away games at the likes of Stoke. A weekend in Milan, or Munich, or Rome, or Lyon, or Madrid, or Barcelona etc. Ok, unless you're seriously wadded, you wouldn't be able to go to all the away games, but there would be wall to wall coverage of all the games anyway. It's the future imo.

@hgblue it would be a riduculous idea..and financially not good. Imagine the money alone the club has to pay for travel and accomadation every fortnight. Then what about night games people would have to take two days off work
