Whelan, Fayed and the others ruining football

who exactly would be the millions upon millions certainly not anyone from England who wasn't in it or from any other country I imagine. I certainly wouldn't pay sky sports £45 a month to watch this fantasy shit

There's a clear distinction for me between people like yourself, who rather than being a football fan, are an Everton fan, and myself. I'm a City fan AND a football fan, and so are most of my friends. We watch as much football as we can.

You say you wouldn't pay Sky Sports to watch "this fantasy shit" - but you wouldn't have to as I imagine Everton would not be in the "fantasy shit". More likely Sky would take the "fantasy shit" league, and leave the "lower" national league to someone like the BBC...who knows...but the point is it's not something you or Mr Stoke have to worry about...

wow I give up so are you saying you are automatically in this shake up if it happens..geez and I wonder why so many neutrals have become sour against you lot..oh and btw your not the only lover of football as a game

Think you're being a bit arrogant there billy, we have no divine right to be invited into any such league considering the lack of doing anything worthwhile for 30 odd years.
as blues we would like to think we would be but so would spurs, everton, villa etc who are all big clubs and, wether we like it or not, have all won more than us in recent history.

Hang on there sweet cheeks. Nothing arrogant about what I'm saying. I imagine if there was a break away super league formed this summer, City would be in it. There's nothing arrogant about that. The league won't be based on how many trophies you've won in previous seasons, or how long you've been a professional club. It'll be based on the politics and wants of the richest clubs in the world, of which we are one.

I'm sorry if that offends you but it wasn't meant to be offensive.

Football is a COMPETITION. Why people can't seem to get their head around this idea, I don't know.

Damocles, thanks for backing up the point I made.

It should be a competition but it appears, from all the available evidence, that some teams arent being competitive in every game.

They are being as competitive as they can possibly be.

I don't care how big or small a club they are, how great or shit their fans are, or how they choose to play their football. If they have enough points to stay in the Premiership, they deserve to be in the Premiership.

Billy, you seem to be forgetting that the Prem was a breakaway "super league" and you're here complaining about the quality of some of the teams in it. How many breakaways does it take for you to realise that the breakaways actually cause some of the problems?
