When Fergie dies...

I think I will be the only City fan who will be gutted when he goes for photoshop reasons. Old bacon chops has given me many hours of entertainment

Hate him as a manager and despise the way he behaves.

HOWEVER

Met him 2/3 times at charity things and know of a few instances where he went above and beyond what's expected on the charity front so id respect any minutes silence.

I would honour any official silence, for the sake of my club. But if his hearse passed me in the street, I'd certainly not bow my head.

How he ever got a knighthood is beyond me,the things he says about others show him to be small minded and undeserving. Plus, he was very rude to a good friend of mine when flying to America recently. This same friend has seen him 2/3 times in the same environment and describes him as a poisonous, rude bully.

But truly, I hope he stays at the helm for a few more years. I want him to be there to see his legacy crumble, his reputation destroyed, before he retires as a beaten old man, City atop the league again on his watch, before he can escape the game like a coward now that things are getting interesting.

To be fair to the bloke i know he comes across a complete twat sometimes in the media,as a bloke he is really down to earth.

I used to drive a bin waggon for macclesfield council, and the lads that did the wilmslow round always got a tenner each of him and a bottle of scotch each(there was 5 of them on the round)and they said whenever they bumped into him or his mrs they were really polite and always had a quick chat to them,so when he dose pass away(i do sometimes joke like the rest of us) i will defo be respecting it,because come on lets face it he has been and still is a very successful manager in the game we all love
