When is it time for a change?

You new to football?

The team is knackered mentally and physically, some players are hiding, some players have lost it, we've got injuries we never get a rest in the summer, and we didn't recruit properly in the summer. This is culminating in high levels of stress on the team and staff. Alot of it has all come at once.

How can people like you not grasp this?

Any City fan who thinks the greatest manager in the history of football should be changed after a handful of bad results in a transitional season is probably the kind of ”fan” who is due a change in clubs again.

Maybe try Chelsea again. Or Liverpool this time around - they’re going quite well

Pep's allowed an off season. It's all up to him as far as I'm concerned. If he's up to it I want to see him here in 2 years with a rebuilt squad. If he's not, and it's too much, then he can chose to go how and when he pleases. He has given us the best 9 years we could ever wish for, and we wont see the like again.

I don’t understand how people can look at this team, the calibre of players he has to work with, the absolute dog shit individual performances being given to him and think “yeah this is pep’s fault this!” And not afford any patience or understanding. How can anyone watch Walker absolutely fuck about game after game and come to the conclusion that yeah, pep told him to do that, or watch Lewis pout and walk around and also do fuck all and say yeah can’t believe pep gave him those instructions. And what a **** for telling nunez to give away a penalty.

In my opinion, the upper management have failed us. The signings have been utter shite for years now and they should have seen the older players getting up there and been ruthless with replacing them.
Instead pep has been hung out to dry and forced to have a bench of absolute fucking nobodies. And let’s get this straight, those youth players aren’t good enough to fix the problems we have.

Loyalty is rare in football and after everything he’s given us I think he deserves a bit of fucking patience, even if it’s an entire season and a chance to fix it, because I don’t know who people think will replace him, but whoever it is won’t fix this mess.

In pep we trust.

He may decide he doesn't fancy it anymore or he isn't the right man to turn it round but there is zero chance he gets sacked even if we don't win another game this season.

What’s your analysis of that game and performance, Kaz.

I’m all ears on where you see the shining lights and green shoots in that game, so fire away…
No no forget all that shite. All you need to know is if you criticise the team you will get berated and belittled by the righteous in this forum.

Look I'm not calling for Peps head. It's just how long we give him to correct this shit show. He is being loyal to a good few due to injuries. We pride ourselves on a great youth set up. This is there time to get game time. Is Pep on a target if we miss out on champions league is that a stackable offence I do think he will see out the season had he got it in him to fix this and rebuild fully again. I'm just on the fence. It's not as if a new face wouldn't bring a freshness to the team it would new ideas might help be that new additions to the coaching set up with fresh ideas to bounce off Pep but it's just getting to the stage what we are doing is shit and we're well capable of being the elite.
