i just grew weary of listening to news app mumbling every time i opened new thread, so i decided to register. at the point of signing up i was already lurking Bluemoon for maybe couple years, reading opinions on various City matters. that days the activity was pretty damn high, because Aguero just signed. i wasn't originally going to post, being unsure whether my English was good enough to not be ridiculed over it, but eventually thought what the hell.
it's been nice two years of my life here, topped by the title game that i weren't though able to live through along with the Bluemooners, but i was here all the time for good couple weeks afterwards, reading all the stuff from people that were feeling all the joy and pain much more keenly than myself, for much longer time, being locals and fans for life, was some unbelievable experience, and i feel very attached to this place ever since.
you are constantly ridiculed and laughed at as a City supporter pretty much everywhere on the Internet and even in real life at times. then there are City supporters' places, which are mostly cringeworthy and full of 'why don't we buy Messi already' bollocks. then there is Bluemoon, a (mostly) level-headed place, where you can talk City without going extremal places, without much fighting over molehills, without spouting profanities and bull over the question of being a bandwagoner, a glory hunter, a worthy fan at heart or whatever. i love me a place like this.

I was looking through it as a lurker in 2008 then I was off work at the start of the New Year of 2009 so thought id join.
My mate told me about it. Said there’s always funny comments on it.
Even now I still read other peoples comments and don’t really post my own that much. 4 years and only 800 comments and i come on Bluemoon nearly everyday.
If i do post its because im very bored at work.
I haven’t met anyone through Bluemoon like a lot of you do. I don’t really know anyone’s username. I just read comments. Never look who they are from.
All in all i enjoyed Bluemoon alot more a few years ago.
But it still does keep me entertained so i will carry on lurking for now.

Yep ... I joined because I lived in Melbourne at the time and wanted to feel closer to the action. Feels like time flies but at the same time feel like i'm a completely different poster from the know it all punk kid I was then.

I joined under old username Bluemoonz1977, but decided on a change and re-signed under the now username Smithy34 - hence low post count
I originally used to frequent website Football365 after my colleague in work told me about it. However I ended up in a massive war of words with some rather stupid and deluded rag fans (who we later found out tried to pass themselves off as oldschool but were in fact spotty 16 year old with a history of the scum that started when the going was good for them - and some of them based in Malaysia)
I basically ended up being labelled a hooligan for giving them both barrels after they constantly berated my great club - which they actually deserved and could not reply to.
after we won the premier league with that wonder strike from Sergio, I decided to leave that forum and find fellow Blues...which ended up with me on Bluemoonforum : )

Back in January 2007, I remember being devastated by the fact we missed out on Olivier Thomert after tracking him for months!

Joined recently. As an American we don't get a whole lot of quality news/ programming about the beautiful game. The Talk Sport apps new update ruined was one of my only connections to try to keep up and City Watch shut down his ask fm indefinitely and I can count on one hand who I can seriously have football banter with.
Can't rely on ESPN to give solid coverage at a decent hour over here. I had seen this forum mentioned a few times and thought it was perfect to filter out the generalization that the little bit of programming over here has so I can follow my favorite club and only them.
