When/why did you join Bluemoon?

Feb 2005. Had been viewing the site for ages, but hadn't decided on a username until then. Lost a good number of posts from a couple of years without t'interweb. Can't even remember how I discovered the site in the first place. Must have been bored.

I'd visited a potential new account in Tyneside and they had signed football shirts up in the reception. When I went into see the buyer we had a chat about football and it turned out he was an ex pat Manc and City fan
He told me he kept up to date with what was going on at the club by being a member of a fans forum called Bluemoon and he encouraged me to have a look

I did, I lurked for a few weeks and joined when I returned from holiday

Very, very naively I started a new topic about being "filled in" as in what had gone on during the two weeks I'd been on hol and I was immediatley set upon by Kingy and Scar.. "Paedo" "Puff" "gay" shirtlifter" and numerous other insults and comments flew my way, a real welcome that was

Yep ... I joined because I lived in Melbourne at the time and wanted to feel closer to the action. Feels like time flies but at the same time feel like i'm a completely different poster from the know it all punk kid I was then.

You may be a different poster but you are still a know it all punk kid ;-)

Can't remember why I signed up. My first post if I look back is something to do with books for reading on holiday. That'd be about right, I am a bit of a boring ****.

Some Schalke hools attacked a tram with City fans after the Euro League game. I think, i translated and posted the german police report about that incident on Bluemoon.

Used to frequent BBC 606(which has just made me go look over there, ohh there was some comedy), someone on there mentioned here, so I signed up, 606 shut 2011??, went for ages without coming on here or any kind of football forums at all, college/uni being the reason. happened upon here one day again, and have been posting sporadically ever since

I used to use mancityfans.net at a regular basis . I'm pretty sure I registered on here ages ago but never came on due to using cityfans.net . I went to log on one day but couldn't remember my login details so signed up again on my missus email . I think I just started browsing and see a lot more was goin on on here so stuck around .
