This film about Lee from 1970 was posted on YouTube yesterday. It appears to show his every touch in a game against Spurs and in one for England, and gives a great sense of the type of player he was.

Apparently the film was made by the Canadian Air Force and narrated by Michael Parkinson.

I made my debut under Lee's watchful eye...Well sort of, my mam was poorly whilst carrying me so went into hospital in preparation for my arrival, a picture of Franny Lee on her hospital bedside cabinet, I think she fancied him

That's a great comparison, Lee was my first City idol, he was a great player, loved watching him play. I was absolutely gutted when we sold him to Derby.
