Where have all the Insects gone ?

I recall a conversation ,by phone, with a Blue from Blackley, this summer.
He and his missus drove, for a holiday from North Manchester....to Torquay. He tells me, that ....on that long journey there and back, there were no insects on his car windscreen...

Just have a think about that......

What is happening ?

And do not suggest global warming, all insects love the Sun. We all do.
It gives all Creatures ....Energy.

The small, sensitive bodies that used to buzz and fly around our homes are now gone. Their tiny intricate bodies, many fitted with their own , internal sat nav systems,...can NOT cope with the hum of the modern broadband ,which we humans " need " to make faster, stronger ,better..

Once the Insects go. Then the Songbirds will too.

The Dawn Chorus, used to be an enlivening characteristic of British life
Everybody heard it, full throttle,, every songbird Blackbirds Song thrush Crow, Robin, Wren the etc etc would take part.

WHERE IS THE DAWN CHORUS NOW ?

Why are we letting nature die, before our very eyes ?

It's obviously the fault of the new Labour government. Everything else is, so why not?

Maybe insects are all capitalist billionaires and have decided to fuck off to Monaco to avoid tax. At least one rat has done that, so why not bugs?

The airflow over modern cars lifts insects out of harms way.

I’m inundated with those garden spiders right now that soon the webs between hedges and the like, then wait so you go in face first. Never seen so many in a summer.

Add the that grit flies, blue bottles.

Not seen many wasps this year.

Saw Honey bee's in late November early December last year on my rosses that still had blooms.

Erling Snarland curled a turd out at 10:03 in the garden this morning at 10:05 when i was going to pick it up about 50 flying bastards were sat on it munching away. Same amount i reckon just doing what evolution does and adapting to survive

You should try living here mate, it's like living in a bastard aviary at 6am every morning....feathered twats.

I don’t use fly spray but we have a few Venus fly trap plants on the window sills in the kitchen and garden rooms and they’ve feasted this summer.
No shortage of supply.
