He's obviously not going to start out wide for City but if there was a couple of injuries and suspensions then I still don't think I'd be optimistic at him doing a job for us. We were fortunate with injuries last season and sometimes things catch up with you.

what is the difference between squad player and backup player? For me a squad player is someone the manager has faith in and play in important games even when he has available other players.

Backup player is someone the manager plays only if he doesnt have a choice. Danny Wellbeck is perfect example of what a squad player is. Fergie would not mind playing him in a vital game. You cant say the same about Sinclair
