Where is the "gloom squad"?

Let's just enjoy a great win, rather than go on an "I told you so" fest.

Still a long way to go, today was an important step.

As someone who could have been referred to as a member of the gloom squad, i was very much encouraged by the initial team Bobby put out today, and even when Lescott got injured he stuck to his origonal formation, 2 wide players and 2 forwards, and as long as i dont see him reverting to starting games we should or must win with THREE defensive midfielders I will support him.
Great selection by the manager today, and a good performance, that with a bit more composure in front of goal could have been a lot better.
Very happy tonight, but still not sure that we will finish second (i guess I have been Blue too long to get my hopes up)

Hey, if you think we can finish SECOND, you are definitely not one of the 'doomers and gloomers'

;o)

To be honest I have been fuck all posts saying 'he must go'.

lol. There's a 20 page thread on the front page here NOW called 'Mancini out' FFS!

Makes us look like utter nobs.

And who is the utter nob that bumped a thread from weeks ago?? Hardly a fucking Mancini outer was it?

Also go through that thread and see how many people actually posted that they thought Manicini should be sacked because it really isn't that many

If we loose on Wednesday should I start a thread asking where have all the brown shirts gone?

Why does having a critical opinion of some of Mancini's decisions so far, or saying you would prefer if Mourinho was manager, make somebody a member of the 'gloom squad'?

Probably because some of the negative stuff about Mancini is stupefyingly moronic given a) the hard facts of our results since he's been here, b) the fact that he has only been here three fucking months and people are saying (publicly!) that he 'has to go' and c) that these people disregard his quite frankly fantastic managerial record to date with other clubs with bullshit reasons and piss weak validation.

It's embarrassing mate. It makes us look on one hand stupid, on the other hand a bunch of impatient, clueless twats.
Well said.

Crap, all of them! Sell the lot, not fit to wear the shirt! Sack the Manager, sack the board. We're going nowhere until we sign Messi, Kaka, Gerrard, Ronaldo (the princing winker AND the fat one), Buffon, Puyol, Maicon, Chilleni, Pele, Beckenbauer, Cruyf ect ect and bring back Joey Barton! :p

How was that?

Best season in years and some people are never satisfied - ridiculous isn't it? We've come a hell of a long way in the past three seasons, there's definately a Blue Moon rising, that is all....

The fact it is from 'weeks ago' makes it even fucking worse mate.

He's only been here for three months and we have a 'Mancini Out' thread from 'weeks ago'. Pathetic. Embarrassing. Ridiculous. Clueless.

And I mentioned it because you said you hadn't seen any posts wanting Mancini out. Just pointing you in the direction of the nearest one (of many).

Time out lad's...

In case you havent noticed, this thread has declined into ripping into posters who havent even posted today..pretty weird tbh.

Think before you think. :)

People who claim supporters want mancini to fail, aka city to lose is idiots, I'm sorry, but not in a million years will a city supporter want us to lose, no matter what. That some people even can suggest such a thing says a lot about you, disgraceful statement.

Isn't that the point though?

The clowns who cannot wait to jump on a negative result (usually a fucking away draw because they are the end of the world these days!) are nowhere to be seen after a good win?

They'll all turn up later at about 2am claiming to have 'just got back' no doubt.

Once again who was it that bumped it so that it would be on the front page?

Bear in mind that that thread was started after going out of the cup after two gos at stoke and still its a relatively small number saying he should be gotten rid of and absolutely nothing compared to the what went on under Hughes.

It is one thing saying "Mancini out" however there have been numerous cleverly written threads undermining Bob on here, belittling his tactics and team selections - decisions of his which have, whilst whilst getting to know a new squad and teaching them "his way", gained us a record of W7 D3 L2 in his 12 league game in charge.

24 points from 12 without "his players".

Not bad really.

He's done very very well. If people want to start threads questioning his tactics or team selection, it's a hardly a fucking crime though is it. No need to start threads like this, when all you'll achieve is polarizing opinions and stifling any debate.

Not sure if you noticed Billy but this is a "forum".

Thought that post might flush you out....
