`Bearskins` thought they were called `Busby`s` ??? that really winds em up, btw I was on the troop this year collecting for injured Guards and families, was fantastic wandering around `Welli` barracks watching the lads form up.
My wife has a cousin who lives at Low Fell, anywhere near to you ?

My dad did the Troop almost every year - the preparations that went on weeks before were drummed into us. Polishing those boots was a real labour of love and woe betide anyone that so much as breathed on them.
Low Fell is about 45 minutes or so down the road I think. (We actually live half way between the M6 and the A1M )
