Where will Hughes go ??

I've been thinking that could happen as well, however, I'm not sure Moyes would touch the Villa job now. Allegedly Benitez said no because there isn't a big budget there, I know Moyes works well on a very low budget at Everton, but why bother moving if he'll find himself in the same situation at Villa?

Rafa's idea of a budget would conflict with Moyes' idea. Villa might pay him more than Everton do and he'd also be under pressure if Everton were sold. New Owners almost always want to bring their own man in.

Villa will strongly regret appointing Alex McLeish. Their fans will shit on it. This is why Hughes is the best available candidate for them.

Hughes will go to Villa 100%.
They are are in dire straits in need of a manager and Hughes will see Villa as a step up from Fullham so yes, if they offer i think he'll take it.

Well, he should shut up with the crap about being an ambitious "young" manager. He'll be 50 in 2-3 years - wonder if he'll become an ambitious "middle-aged" manager, or more probably an ambitious "experienced" manager.

Leaving aside the fact that he has won the square root of fuck-all in all his time as a manager.

Either of Hughes, Taggart Wannabe or the Fat Spanish Waiter will keep them as a mediocre mid table club.

What big club would ever give him a job again ? He's proven he can't do it even with unlimited resources.

Belllamy for 15 million rsc for 17.5 million. Lescott 24 million. Bridge 12 million. 90 k a week wages for all of them and long contracts. Adebayor 25 million 125k plus a week.

Fulham were very lucky that he walked and they retained the squad he inherited. They had the sense to stop him making any changes to their squad at all.

Rubbish.

His budget at Blackburn was non-existant but they consistently had good finishes and fell apart once he left.

Fulham also had a very strong finish and I made a habit of checking Fulham forums to see what they thought. No problems.

18 months since he went and some of you still can't get over him.

Yes, all of Hughes's teams perform better in the second half of the season. That is of course with the exception of us and Fulham

He consistently did as well as Graham Souness. In fact, Souness actually won something in his time at Blackburn.

Just adding some balance to the argument ;-)

I have a feeling he might end up somewhere in Spain. It looks right now like unless someone takes the Villa job that opens something up, there really isn't anything open in England for him, unless he wants to take a shot at Birmingham or Cardiff and I don't really see that.
