Where will Hughes go ??

Durham has said that a 'source' has said Hughes is going to Chelsea as a Head Coach with Hiddink as Director of Football.

I can see that happening.

I can genuinely see that happening, Hughes wouldn't have left Fulham if he didn't have something already lined up, if that job was Villa it they wouldn't have interviewed Martinez.

Hughes has the respect of Terry (who he's mates with) and probably a fair few connections with Chelsea having played there. He took a job off Shiniwatra so he's not exactly fussy who he's working for and whilst he might not necessarily love the idea of having a director of football, if it meant getting a high profile job like the Chelsea one, I'm sure he'd put up with it.

I hope he gets the Chelsea job and completely fucks them up thus killing two shit birds with one stone.

Hopefully Hughes's first task will be to "sort out" their defending at corners.

Don't laugh at Bowen and the rest of his cronies, they're barely capable and very shit - laughing at them just seems quite cruel.

The reasons Hughes's sides are shit is nothing to do with Hughes or his mates, it's Elano's fault and it'll be the same at Chelsea.

Drew 7-7 with Wigan? Elano's fault.

Playing Lampard at left back? Elano's fault.

Didn't the training watchers say Hughes did very little actual coaching but left most of it to his tafia? Not sure how that's going to fit in with a head Coach title unless he gets another bunch of underlings working for him.

So the Villa job has gone, the Chelsea job will be gone by the end of the day now Villas-Boas has resigned. So really, where will Hughes end up? I wonder if he is regretting leaving Fulham?

Porto?

"Spurs are puzzled about the involvement in the Modric saga of the last few days of Kia Joorabchian"

Uni*ed want Modric

Could Hughes be going there as assistant to SAF?

I think not because he has to leave anyway. May be Hughes was just a stop gap manager at Fulham all along, cause Fulham and Jol had agreed personal terms already before Ajax forced the deal to collapse so Fulham has to wait for Jol until this Summer.
