Where would you rank last night in terms of disappointments?

The way I see it is that we're knocking and have been knocking on the CL door for several seasons now.

Edging closer and closer to getting the monkey off our back.

It will eventually come, then, guaranteed the media ****'s will remind us that winning it once is not good enough and our impending achievement will no doubt be instantly dismissed..

Meanwhile, winning the hardest league in world football is where it's really at..

And here we are..

We have a fantastic opportunity to win the PL for the fourth time in 5 years..

If we do manage it, the anti city ****'s in the media can whinge, bleat, moan and slag us off all they want but beating the best dipper team ever assembled (again), the biggest club in the world, the London club currently up for sale on eBay, the tarquins and spuds to the title IS the real story ..!

Roll on tomorrow, let's get it won..!

Bizarrely I still can’t lift myself from Wednesday night result. Bit meh about footy generally. Only hatred for red scousers is keeping me checking my phone.

I may have to watch “Flatliners” with Julia Roberts to see if it will lift my spirits.

Slightly higher than when I ws in the process of pulling a smart girl I used to know called Lisa but called her Jackie 15 times as I was completely and utterly pissed, her last name was Wilson.

I couldn't get my drunk head to stop saying it, I had known the girl and fancied her 10-15 years earlier lol

It was a disappointing evening.

The ones that always come into my mind are that Owen goal for the rags in the millionth minute of injury time and the disallowed Sterling goal against spurs in the CL. If I’m honest I’d put this behind both of those.. That Owen goal happened as a lone city fan in a pub full of rags, i nearly got bottled. The Sterling goal I jumped around the room screaming for 2 minutes, nearly lost my voice being VAR chalked it off

The day we were relegated to the third tier of English football when we won 5 - 2 at stoke but it wasn't enough - to put that into perspective that so pissed me off and it was they day my daughter was born. Even that event couldn't get me to crack a smile that day !

Good job you didnt say Tits Out

It doesn’t feel as bad as last seasons final defeat or the Lyon game for some reason.
I had very little emotion over Covid no-fans football. It was preferable that we won the Prem and EFL Cup double last season, but I wasn’t particularly arsed about the highs nor lows of lockdown football or that we even won trophies during it.

None of it felt real. Just felt like watching training games.

That Madrid defeat felt real. Still hurts, and probably will until we ever win the competition.

Luton by a mile. Like most things in life, its an age thing.
No game has ever hurt as bad as that, but being 20 at the time, there were far less things in life that mattered more
Totally agree. The other night was so frustrating as we seemed so much better than them for much of the 2 games. We really should have been about 9:3 up on aggregate by the time we went into extra time. As others have said, Lyon and Chelsea were shit performances that we deserved nothing from in all honesty.
When we lost that game to Luton, I was still at school and it felt like my whole world had collapsed! As you get older you do tend to put things in perspective though. Having said that though, the name 'Luton Town' still sends shivers down my spine and if they do go up via the play offs I'd really like to see us absolutely twat them twice!!

I felt worse getting hammered 3-0 at home by Wimbledon back I the day. If we lose tomorrow I'll be far more gutted to be honest.

Obviously meant to say 'by the time we went into the last few minutes', so obviously wouldn't have needed extra time.
