Cahill from Bolton would be a good bet, very aggressive, good in the air and would be relatively easy to get. Gartside would snap our hands off if we offered reasonable money.

I can not see any big name CBs coming in the January Transfer window. I would like Hangerland but don't think he'll be avalible.

Mancini ain't got enough time for gambles.

Expect an approach to Sol Campbell.

Mancini has been out of the game for 18months but I expect him to have a scouting network or a knowledge of players in preparation for his next job/this job.

He'll have an idea of what he wants for sure. I'd expect a CB / full back who can play both positions to arrive, along with another full back (right or left depending), a general and a creative midfielder.

Not sure what's happening with Andrea Barzagli at the moment but he's a defender whom I've always admired. He only moved to Wolfsburg last year but I wouldn't imagine it would be too hard to entice him away.
