OhMade my own tonight and it was better than the chippy, here’s the recipe
Added 1/2 tsp chilli not a quarter, heaped 2 tsp of curry powder and coconut milk as desired for taste and thickness.(don’t bang it all in)Salt and pepper as well. Better than a chippy.
- 1 small onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 inch piece of ginger
- 1 tin coconut milk
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 2 tsp curry powder
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- ¼ tsp chinese 5 spice
- ¼ tsp hot chilli powder
- 100ml water
Full recipe for beer battered cod and triple cooked chips. Added mushy peas.
