Which City player; alive or no longer with us, would you most like to have had a drink with

Having my own hero's as I grew up, I met and got Kinkladzes autograph at a boxing event at the Piccadilly Hotel, I marvelled with envy at David Whites pace and enjoyed Lakeys serene composure. I was a bit too young for Buzzer, Franny and King Colin. Having read City's history several times I often thought I would have loved to have met Bert or even big Frank Swift. I was always told Roy Paul was a true gent and would always dip his studs in dettol before taking the field. Amongst the many greats we've had play for us, I remember reading a short version of the life story of this fella and thinking bloody hell, what a life, what achievements, what courage. A truly remarkable man and could have told you a few stories over a couple of pints. I give you ex City captain Max Woosnam. Take the time just to skip through his bibliography on Wikipedia below, just incredible.

John Bookbinder. Didn't make the 1st team but was sub in the 2nd leg youth cup final in 86 and played for the reserves.
Sadly passed away from throat cancer in 2007 and was therefore the only member of the 86 youth cup winning squad I was unable to interview for the book Teenage Kicks (although his sister Susan was a great substitute!)

Has to be Buzzer. Been around City for over 50 years. Wonder what he thinks of Swales, Allison's return, Franny as chairman, and so much more. At the sick swan, he just sat there with a beatific smile as his prediction came true. Was he dispensed with by Sky for saying we would mash this lot soon? So pleased that in his twilight years he is still around to see what we have become.
If Buzzer is not available, Skipper Book.

Really difficult to pin just one down, Vinny, Buzzer, Mario,Ian Bishop, Paul Lake, Zabba, Bert etc could go on for pages but if pushed Kazimierz Deyna.
