Which computer game wowed you the most?

For me it was Goldeneye - made me buy an N64 just for that game. I remember watching someone playing it in GAME and thinking I've never seen graphics like it - you could shoot bottles off tables and they would smash. You could shoot and break security cameras, lights and tv screens. Amazing.

turrican II for me. it was like seeing a next generation game at the time on my atari st.

Goldeneye was immense, comparing it to the graphics of now though, you might aswell just have stick men running around.

Battlefield 1942 for me, first game where you could run and gun, drive cars and tanks or fly planes and helicopters all in the same game. Add to that the many great mod's that came out (EoD, Desert Combat, Star Wars, the one with nukes that I cant remember the name of etc. etc.) it was epic!
