Both have the potential to be very tricky but I think Inter will be harder.

United will obviously be desperate to beat us as it's their chance to stop us doing the treble. However, I think the occasion won't get to our players as much because most of them have already won an FA Cup final in 2019. Also, we play United at least twice every season and we know we can demolish them as we proved in October. Of course they are capable of beating us in a one off game but I'm confident that we'll brush them aside.

Inter are more of an unknown and we tend to struggle against teams that play three at the back. They will also waste as much time as possible to try and disrupt our rhythm so an early goal could be crucial in nullifying their game plan. We'll have to cope with the pressure of being overwhelming favourites and the chance to win our first ever Champions League which they always say is the hardest. We have at least played a final before which should help us as long as we channel that experience in the right way.

Something else to factor in is that the outcome of the FA Cup final could affect how we perform in the Champions League final. If we beat United then we have more momentum going in to the game against Inter but does that also bring more pressure in the sense that the treble is on the line. If we lose to United does that dent our confidence or does it make us more determined to make up for it.

Anything can happen on the day but ultimately we can only control what we do so we just have to play to the level we know we're capable of and if we do that then we have a great chance of winning both games.

Think the Rags will be hell bent on stopping our treble bid, and If they're getting beat In the final will probably stick a sly boot In to our crucial players out of spite.
If it was rag fans playing then yes. I doubt most professional footballers would think that way unless they stood to gain personally from it. Frustration if played off the park however might trigger some nastiness.

As a team being widely praised for playing some of the best football ever played, neither game should be a problem.

Biggest worry is the fear the rags/inter will have assistance from the officals.

Yesterday i heard mention of a Johan Cruyff quote, in that he wanted to create a team so good it took the officals out of the equation, i,ve had a look and can,t find it, what i did find is this 2016 guardian article, have a read and change Cruyff for Pep, its almost a mirror image of what we are witnessing.

Looking at it from the boys perspective, their not going to roll over and let the rags/inter get in the way of them achieving something really special - nerve wracking for us without a doubt not so much for Pep and the team.

3 nil up and i,ll start to relax
We got this :-) (i hope)

If you read Cryuff's book, he actually credits Pep for coming up with a lot of the ideas he implemented while managing the 'Dream Team'

:-) just looking at buying it.

Its a good read, the striking thing is how bloody daft Cryuff is about pretty much everything that doesn't happen on a football pitch. Some of the liberties people took with him are unbelievable. Think he gave an ex teammate millions to invest in some Pig farm that went bust and first he heard about it was his accountant telling him a cheque had bounced!

Yeah that what I'm trying to get at, City will go at them from the off, and sooner or later frustration will creep In and fouls will occur, can see It going off If the ref doesn't get a grip from the start.

Having already done a final, I don't see him getting the CL final again. They tend to hand it round.

I could see Szymon Marciniak of Poland getting it. He did the World Cup final and our Real Madrid second leg this season.
Probably out of the running for precisely that reason.
I can see it being Brych or Kuipers, they've done finals before but not for a good while.

I only use the precedent of Howard Webb refereeing the 2010 World Cup and CL finals. There'll be other candidates. It's not really an issue.

An English ref makes that FA cup game much harder for us. If it is going to be Oliver, his game management instead of game refereeing takes 40% of our advantage in quality.
I watched 10+ Inter games this season and unless some Lyon-like fuck up I don't see how we cannot score three goals at least.

United have been running out of steam for a month, they will also be without Martinez.

As much as they will give it the big one before the match, they will also know deep down that they have to be perfect to get a result.

That big Wembley pitch is made for us.

I'm of the belief a game between United and Inter would be more even.

Inter have people who can put the ball in the net but I doubt they have the quality to play a three at the back and our midfield quality not creating plenty of chances.
