Which NFL team to support?

Forget NFL college football is far more entertaining, the atmosphere at the bigger games is unbelievable with 100,000 plus crowds.

GO VOLS !!!!

Colts all the way. Brilliant city, owner, stadium and hopefully team. The Peyton era was the best ever for the Colts closely matched by Unitas when they where located in Baltimore. Andrew Luck the new QB now and this could be a special 10 years or so for us. 6-3 this season despite being made up of cast offs and rookies and a brilliant battling team who are playing for their head coach Chuck Pagano who has lukemia.

As for CFB got to be Boise State. The blue turf hurts your eyes a bit at the start but if you want to root for an underdog then they are your team.

Boise State? Underdog? They are the Celtic of College Football (strong team weak division).

Good for one upset per year of a top team?

Fuck them!

Support the Oregon State Beavers! The 'I don't know what' of CFB. (had a streak of 28 losing years(ended 1999). Doing ok (two losses)at present)

Fuck the Oregon Ducks, an evil (undefeated) version of Manchester City(see Nike and Phil Knight) of CFB)

CFB has all the passion.

The NFL is fucking Arsenal: league wide.

Anyhow, go Vikings! (Oh, how you have hurt me.)

Norte dame seems more Celtic-y to me , except they actually play in Ireland sometimes.

I don't mind what phil knight does w Oregon , they haven't always been this good , and from what I've read ( obv a bit skeptical) he helps all the programs there tremendously . That being said some of their uniforms are truly disgusting.

Since the 30 for 30 documentary I've been a hurracaines fan . Though really just liked big rivalry games and upsets before that. Back when Steve spurrier was at Florida , and Bobby Bowden was at fsu was probably my favourite era of cfb

Not an addict but enjoy watching the game - as many have said used to love Ch4 coverage in the early 80s but never had a team. Picked it up again in the 90s after playing Madden on the playstation and used to always play as the Steelers (loved the black kit). At the time they hadn't won the Superbowl for nearly 20 years and Jerome Bettis was just a beast.

Loved the 2006 Superbowl when Bettis won in his last game in his home town, but nothing will beat the 2009 Cardinals Superbowl. Now this may sound familiar - the favourites, Steelers, were in control of the game for a large part of it against an unfancied opponent in the biggest game of the season and led for a long time. The Cardinals then got back into it and eventually took the lead. Steelers had 2 minutes to recover from a losing position and were miles back in their own territory. They brilliantly worked their way up field and finally scored a spectacular touchdown with 35 seconds left on the clock to win the championship.

Stupendous.

There's a lot not to like about the Steelers (big Ben's off field activities, comparisons to MUFC among them), but when you've got a team, you've got a team for ever.

I'm in the same position as you. I had close friends from Pittsburgh and followed them before they won the super bowl. Sadly it just looks like I'm glory hunting.
Jerome Bettis was amaZing! Who was the Hawaiian guy witness long dread locks? Does he still play for them?

Troy Polamalu - still on the squad I think, great player. And I agree about feeling like a glory hunter, but sod it I know the truth.

Mind you I was wearing my new maroon/black City shower jacket at five a side this week and got accused of glory hunting.
