Vuoso was closer to £2M down.

Fowler was the worst, not counting Jo.

Bob Taylor was a very good signing, played a few weeks, scored a few vital goals, got promoted and sold him.

Scored the only goal at home to Birmingham if my memory's still working.
Although Fat Bob was a big pile of shit, his goals to games ratio wasnt to bad tbh.
Worst value for money signing has to be Vuoso as he never played a game!
I also remember Keegan saying he was going to be the next Maradona :-/

I thought Boyer was a midfielder??

Whildt Jo must be top vote at 19m, how about the likes of Mark Robins, Carl Shutt and Peter Beardsley (the list is endless). Not necessarily big transfers (some are loans) but big wage earners.

Barry F'in Silkman, he has to go down as one of the worst buys, it gives me nightmares now nearly 30 years later, and he only cost three and tuppence!
