Which watch do you wear?

I had a Tissot Touch that told you allsorts of info like temp and altitude etc but it broke and I got quoted $250 to get it fixed, I like the Skagen watches so i have 2 of them now, $150 each and very slim.
 
Something very weird about the perspective of people who see a bit of metal on a wrist as a status symbol. It is a functional item. I know people who earn very average salaries yet pay silly money for watches. And aren't they desperate for people to notice? Their free choice, of course, but it all seems bizarre to me.

In the same bracket as jewellery merchants.
 
I have a collection of wristwatches but as I type, I'm wearing this.
