For all the talk of who we should bring in we have to balance it against the squad numbers, I can't see more than 3 players coming in as I can only see us letting 3 players from the first team squad leave.

Aguero - Confirmed to be leaving.
Garcia - pretty much certain to leave.

Maybe Mendy or if not then Ferny.

Struggling after that.

Well that's it really. Except I don't see the club moving Mendy on.

Two players is likely it. Three if Fernandinho doesn't stay (and it's increasingly seems likely that he will stay).

Grealish plus a striker seems to be what the feeling is atm.

That may be the case, but it might also be that we’re keeping things under wraps so not to create disruption before a UCL final

He’s evolved into one of our best players, and can be a game changer when we need one. Even if we did sell (and we shouldn’t), definitely worth more than £40m considering he’s just won UCL player of the semis

I think some people need to reflect on their eyesight. No way would I be happy for Sterling, Laporte, Mahrez or Ake to leave this summer. We have a squad capable, but just falling short of the quadruple, and Aguero has been absent all season. Players play in and out of form, Cancelo is the perfect example, and Sterling too. A run of form, then a dip. That is why we need twenty or more players capable of playing in the Champions League and throughout the Premier League season. If Fernandinho leaves, we need a back-up for Rodri, Garcia has all-but gone so Ake is as good and more solid in my opinion. We need a striker and maybe another left-sided full back with more defensive qualities than Mendy. Laporte should certainly stay, he just suffered because Stones and Dias have been so brilliant most of the season, but both have shown they are capable of occasional lapses

Adding Grealish and Haaland to, Phil, Gundo, Bernie Mahrez and KDB 5 from 7, Pep has also said that Delap will be added to the squad next year 5 from 8, to me means 1 if not 2 of Sterling and Jesus may be added to the out as we need another DM and LB if Fern and Mendy leave (Mendy can't be used even as LWB)
Also the Sane money needs to be added as well, if Ake and Laporte agitate for a move THB and/or another CB are needed

I can see ake and mendy leaving permanently. Torres for me should go on loan as he won’t get enough game time

Jesus is another I can see leaving, as he has been average for a while now
