If Kane doesn't happen and Barca still can't register Kun do we approach him with our tail between our legs for a reunion?
A very different squad if we lose Bernardo, Jesus and potentially Laporte while bringing in Grealish and Kane.
Far more English-centric, than the usual Spanish-centric (language) team.
While sad to lose players, since we are bringing in quality, I just view it as a different period for us.
I don't know the exact word, but Spanish-like, Portugese and Laporte spent alot of time in Spain and certainly speaks fluent Spanish.Slightly odd comment, given that none of Bernardo, Jesus or Laporte speak Spanish as a first language
Curly surly?If he’s surly, he’s definitely one.
Could be that the management recognise that English players are less likely to get the hump and ask for a move if they’re not getting game time, and they’re much less likely to get homesick training and playing in the rain eight days a week. Of course they’ll get upset, but they’ll also know it’s a downward trajectory going elsewhere.A very different squad if we lose Bernardo, Jesus and potentially Laporte while bringing in Grealish and Kane.

Bellingham says hi :)Judging by the signings across the league, looks like there will be Brexit squad regulations with an increased amount of HG players and fewer foreign spots.
It's called Latin culture.I don't know the exact word, but Spanish-like, Portugese and Laporte spent alot of time in Spain and certainly speaks fluent Spanish.
I too understand why Bernie and Torres would like to be closer to home.Could be that the management recognise that English players are less likely to get the hump and ask for a move if they’re not getting game time, and they’re much less likely to get homesick training and playing in the rain eight days a week. For players such as Bernardo, Laporte, and Torres, being closer to home and family this summer, especially on the back of lockdown, must have appealed, so I can understand if they wish to move. I’d be sad to see Jesus go, though, as I think he has the right work ethic, and if given a full season as the number one striker, he could get more goals.
If this new direction is the case, then we’re twice blessed. We have a good crop of youngsters coming through our own academy and England is producing a generation of great talents. Might need to try identifying them earlier, though, as the prices will only go up.
Yeah that's probably it.It's called Latin culture.
You are right mate originally it referred to Latin speaking countries (through the Romans) such as France, Spain and Italy, now it refers to Latin AmericaYeah that's probably it.
For some reason when I think Latin, I almost strictly think of the countries in the Americas (North and Central), I don't include Spain or Portugal for some reason. Hispanic is the other word I guess.
I apologise if I'm way off here but you're based across the Atlantic right?Yeah that's probably it.

Do you think Torres wants to go mate ?I too understand why Bernie and Torres would like to be closer to home.
Laporte, as I've mentioned before, has all the backbone of a jellyfish. The lad just wants to be picked no matter what - hence his international switch.
The problem for Bernie and Torres - they want to go to one of the big Spanish clubs, none of them have a pot to piss in. We're not running a charity, and they both have plenty of time on their contracts - sorry lads we're not taking IOUs to be paid in 10 years time.
Yes I'm from Canada.I apologise if I'm way off here but you're based across the Atlantic right?
Latin America is right on your doorstep, whereas over here it's more just Spain and Portugal. It's only natural you'd put Latin America first. As the poster above said, Latin over here really refers more to the Romance countries (or the dead language). What you'd call Latin, we'd call Iberian. I know they're not exactly the same, but they both serve the purpose of defining the Spanish and Portuguese regions closest to us.
Seems to be the general opinion - I personally have no ideaDo you think Torres wants to go mate ?
