Been playing one album a lot recently. Fun In Space by Roger Taylor. His first solo album from 1981. Absolutely nothing like Queen. Very eclectic collection of songs. He plays most all instruments on it, and it features his very distinctive voice.

Nothing from the last 20 years that's for certain. I've got sick of people saying "listen to this" or "there's good stuff out there if you look outside the mainstream" only to be presented with chord bangin 3 note riff durges.
