Bukayo Sako has only got 1 year left on his contract and apparently isnt that keen on committing to arsenal.

Worth keeping tabs on especially if the plan is not to spend big on a direct replacement.

Also tapping up Arsenals most promising youngster would be fun for everyone.

I'm all for a pacy left winger, but at the same time when it comes to playing in this team the winger also have to have more than just pace and trickery. They have to be able to hold onto the ball. This is why, although a lot of people have problems with Mahrez's pace, Pep picks him. He doesn't lose the ball which can also lead to counter attacks. I feel this is actually one of the reasons Pep didn't play Sane toward the ending of last season. When you lose the ball you can't sustain the attack, have less possession etc. which Pep hates. Of course our attacks are slower, but going backwards keeps us the ball. It also prevents an open game which players can get tired going up and down the pitch too much. Our players can rest with the ball and let the opposition ware themselves out defending. BTW Phil has pretty good pace. Not Sane pace, but not a lot out there do.

Marhez was picked because we no other option, to be fair he produced some displays worth his outlay, really not interested in anybody`s theories on Peps Sane problem. Keeping possession merely pushes the opposition back wards at which they do not get tired as they do not need to run, and that is where we are susceptible to counter, we have a terrible record for conceding to the first shot, we also have the worst record for technical foul bookings and that is going to get worst next season, if you do not have pace you can not use it and that showed against Burnley

In Europe just about all of them, in the EPL very few with all of them getting beaten, of the top teams both utd and liverpool since Klopp and Oly got there have played on the counter very successfully, Leicester also have a decent record playing on the counter, Tottenham are just dirty, Chelsea are on the change and Arsenal are a mid table team now, but lets face it only Laporte`s injury dealt City a bigger blow than losing Sane`s pace on the left, where we have no pace from back to front, not replacing Sane would be like going boxing with no left arm, against a fully equipped person
