Who comes up with this drivel

Alpha males as a concept have existed forever. Basically just people who were capable of being leaders and forward thinkers.
Alpha males were invented by a now highly discredited scientific study on group dynamics in animal societies.

There's no such thing in nature as alpha males. It was a very early understanding that has been superseded decades ago. Nobody told the Rogan types though. There's arguably no such thing as dominant males either. There's hierarchies but studies show these work much more on mutual task sharing than it does on aggression or mythical "leadership" skills.

The guy who came up with the alpha male thing has even publicly stated that he was wrong. But it still continues.

There was a Talksport presenter last year that had a section on his show about how Leeds were bigger than City.

Absolutely zero metric on any scale on how Leeds are bigger.
Indeed - attendance history being a prime exqmple

I moved to West Yorkshire last year and am now surrounded by Leeds fans. They don’t hate us (they reserve all their hatred for the rags, which I thoroughly condone) but they bizarrely do think they’re bigger than us.

I do consider them a big club in this country, but we were bigger than them when we were in division two.

Here we go again.

Just like last time.

Leeds are back in the PL again(for one season), and all of a sudden they are bigger than City.

There are winners and there are losers, usually the winners are the strong clever ones, fuck all to do with science.

"Bigger than" in football doesn't actually mean anything, does it? Apart from the player's average size. Just another buzz word.
Forget the term...just ask for the definition. That's when they'll struggle to answer...

Revie was their manager for 14 years (1961 - 74). In those years, they won two league titles, one second tier title, one FA Cup, one league cup and two inter City Fairs Cups. Outside of that 14 year period, they've won one league title and 4 second tier titles. In 105 years. Hardly big collectors of silverware.

Villa’s most famous fan

I think you are getting your Kennedys mixed up pal.
Nigel Kennedy is a very well known Villa fan, indeed I think he has actually played his violin at a Villa game.
The gentleman in the photo is Kevin Kennedy ( AKA Curly Watts), who is from Wythenshawe and as far as I know supports City.
